Telephone Scam Warning
MMWD would like our customers to be aware of a telephone scam that has been reported in our area. It involves a recorded message that states your water bill is past due. It then asks the customer to push a number to be connected to provide payment information. MMWD will not ask for credit card information over the phone. If you received a suspicious phone call, please call our Customer Service Department at 415-945-1400 for accurate information about your account. If you believe you've been a victim of a scam, you can contact the Federal Communications Commission at 1-888-225-5322 and/or your local police.
