Water Bill

You will receive a water bill every 60 days. Billed amounts are based on meter readings for water used during the previous two months. If you have a question about your water bill, please call our Customer Service Department at 415-945-1400 from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Payment Options



Online payments

Sign up for our online bill pay service!

  • Sign up with your credit card or checking account using our online payment system. If you’ve never used the system, you must first register for a username and password.
  • Payment posting time: 2 business days
Automatic bill payments
Sign up for our EasyPay service!
  • Sign up for automatic deductions (electronic funds transfer) from your checking account using the automatic payment authorization form.
  • Payment posting time: by scheduled payment date
Pay-by-phone
Use our free pay-by-phone system!
  • Pay your bill using your credit card, debit card, or checking account. Dial 1-844-244-8362 and follow the prompts to make a payment to your water account.
  • Payment posting time: before 6 p.m. the next business day.
Mail payments
  • Mail a check in the reply envelope enclosed with your bill to:

Pay in person
  • We are open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. Our address is:

Night drop
  • You can put your payment any time in the night drop slot, located on the north side of our building.

Discounted Rate Programs


Those who meet certain criteria can receive discounts on their bill. Here’s an overview of the programs we have.
  • Service Charge Waiver Program: The bimonthly meter service charge and watershed manage fee are waived. The water used is billed according to our usual and current rate structure. Learn more and download application.
  • Medical Disability Discount: The bimonthly meter service charge and  watershed management fee are waived, and an additional nine CCFs is billed at the Tier 1 base rate. Learn more and download application. (One CCF, or 100 cubic feet, is 748 gallons.)
