Free Photography Exhibit—There’s More to See on the Eco-Friendly Garden Tour!

Posted on April 2, 2019 at 10:19 AM by Ann Vallee

MMWD is proud to sponsor “Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers & Climate Change,” a free photography exhibit presented by the Marin Chapter of the California Native Plant Society (CNPS Marin), on display at the Sausalito Bay Model April 2 to June 1. This exhibition of images by award-winning photographers Rob Badger and Nita Winter reveals the incredible beauty of California’s wildflowers and their varied habitats. The exhibition emphasizes Marin’s landscape, but also includes diverse geographic regions of California, from Sierra alpine rock gardens to Death Valley’s desert scenery.

The Bay Model’s native pollinator garden is included on the Eco-Friendly Garden Tour on May 4. See this inspiring garden planted by CNPS Marin, then check out the photo exhibit while you’re there! There also will be bee, butterfly and birding groups on hand at the Bay Model on tour day to share information and resources. Don't forget to register for the tour.
