Project Description
Phase II of the Kastania Pump Station Rehabilitation project includes a new roof, drainage upgrades, a new 30-inch check valve, a new electrical motor control center, variable frequency drives, a new surge protection valve and new perimeter fencing.
Benefits
This project will replace an existing dilapidated pump and motor to increase reliability and resiliency. The installation of a pressure relieve valve and tank will protect the North Marin Aqueduct against potential surge events.
Schedule and Status
Project currently in design. Construction on hold pending identification of funding.
