Investing in your water system

Up-sizing to larger PVC and welded steel pipe will provide improved firefighting ability by allowing significantly higher fire flow rates. Welded steel pipe will also fortify the water infrastructure by improving seismic resilience to ensure emergency preparedness and high-quality drinking water now, and for the future. This project is funded through our Fire Flow Improvement Program, a voter-approved initiative that helps boost water flows to hydrants for emergency response purposes.
